The Iron Duck Metro TechPack Advanced Airway includes the Metro TechPack O2 Backpack and the Advanced Airway Page. Designed in collaboration with the largest municipal EMS service in the US, this backpack is built to withstand the rigors of the 1.5 million calls they handle each year. This compact and protocol-specific backpack ensures fast, easy deployment on scene, simple decontamination and efficient restocking back at the station.
This backpack features plenty of pockets and storage for essential gear. The fold down lid pocket is constructed of clear vinyl for quick access and visibility. A zippered front pocket allows for access to a tablet, or patient documents. It has a UP tank wrap that fits around a “D” or “Jumbo D” cylinder with hard plastic protectors at the top and bottom. There is ample room on both sides of the tank wrap for CPAP, adult and pediatric bag-valve masks and suction. A quick-lock magnetic hardware keeps the the briefcase-style module secure and available for quick-use. The Airway Management page is labled Pediatric on one side and Adult on the other with organization for right-sized laryngoscope blades and handles, endotrachial tubes, stylets, syringes, cannulas and clamps.
