The device aids in identifying the appropriate intercostal space for lateral thoracostomies and similar procedures. It is weather-resistant and lightweight taking up little space in any kit. The ThoraSite is also radiolucent for non-obscured imagery. Available in a pack of five for ease of use and access. The ThoraSite is non-sterile and intended to be single-use.
