Tourniquets

Tourniquets stop bleeding quickly and efficiently on extremities. Windlass tourniquets are among the most popular standard style of tourniquet, including a plastic or metal rod that can be twisted to apply pressure and then locked to maintain consistent pressure. Other styles include stretch wrap or ratchet locking designs, and other designs include Junctional Tourniquets, which can be applied to control bleeding and immobilize pelvic injuries. Often used in tactical conditions, tourniquets are usually carried in a Tourniquet Holster, which can easily attach to a belt or pack for quick access.
